Compensation (W2):
$34.26/hr. - $50/hr.
CMEA - USD: $500.00/Yr.
H&W Rate (if applicable): $4.57
H&W Rate Paid as Cash? (if applicable): Yes
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday - Various 8,10,12 hour shifts, Days or Nights, not to exceed 80 hours every two-week period. Includes a 30 minute lunch break.
Occasional overtime.
Work weekends and holidays
Job Specific Details and Tasks:
Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.
Perform physical exam and health histories.
Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
Direct and supervise care provide by other healthcare professionals.
Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations.
Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.
Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.
Perform nursing services identified in the TO.
Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing. Graduate from an accredited community college, junior college, college, university, or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time theprogram was completed by the applicant: The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Experience: A minimum of 12 months of experience is mandatory in operating room assignments. Experience must include all phases of operating room technique such as preparing operating room units, preparing patients for surgery, assisting medical officer during surgery, conducting instrument and equipment sterilization procedures, and assisting anesthesia provider with post anesthesia recovery if PACU or ICU not available.
Life Support Certification: Possess a current AHA or ARC BLS/ACLS/PALS Healthcare Provider certifications.
Licensure: Must hold a full, current, and unrestricted nursing license in a State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia and must maintain a nursing license to practice in the United States of America.
Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
